The 5 Best Ways to Move On From Comfort Zone by Pri Penstains

Well, perhaps you have heard that when you are too comfortable in your situation, you become stagnant in life but how much truth is there, in this statement?

Many of us when someone asks a big question about our lives then we don't waste time to blame on the circumstances.

But did you take a moment and think about it?

So, the moment you transcend your own limitations, you will find boundless joy, excitement, and opportunity. It is much easier to stay within the boundaries of where you are comfortable than to face the fear of moving on. But by limiting yourself to what you already know, you are likely missing out on career opportunities, life experiences, and personal growth.

Some simple steps to try now:

  1. Try out new things: One way to get out of the habit is to explore new and different things. The possibilities are endless, and trust me, once you find your own pace, you’ll find it gets easier to try new things. Once that’s done, you’ll learn to enjoy taking risks and growing.
  2. Take responsibility or new roles: If you feel comfortable taking initiative, especially at work, and facing awkward situations that can sometimes come up in leadership positions, you will be more than ready to break free from all your comfort zones. Whether you feel you’re embarking on a new project at work, hitting a new gym, or just attempting to say yes more often, you’ll leave the cosy comforts of your daily routine behind and plunge headlong into life beyond. Your comfort zone.
  3. Surround yourself with supportive people: The right people always encourage you to move forward and take that one step that you are always meditating about.
  4. Stop overthinking: Just Do it. Stop thinking about it deeply. Actions speak louder than words so do it. Consider that the worst has already happened and get moving.
  5. Do things differently: If you’re looking for a little sparkle in your day, it’s time to challenge yourself. Do one thing every day that scares you and you’ll feel more alive than ever. Have fun discovering things about yourself that you may not have known before. Find the little things that make you uncomfortable and promise yourself that you’ll try them.
